やっぱり「カメレオン」。この曲を思いつくだけでもかなり凄いが、各プレーヤーが非常にストイックに、与えられたフレーズを延々繰り返すまさにファンクネスな展開。ハンコックはその「カラオケ」をバックに実に自由にムーグのフィルターを捻り続ける。１人だけ、ハンコックの「煽り」に耐え切れず暴れだすハーヴィー・メイスンが痛快！そしてその倍返しで後半ローズ・ピアノでハーヴィーにキッチリおしおきするハンコック。・・・超カッコいい。
あと何というか、とても人工的な定位の録音である。おそらく同時録音のはずなのに（前出「カメレオン」は最初と最後でテンポが違う 笑）とてもドライな音質だ。それがこのアルバムを現代まで生き延びさせている・・というか今聴いても遜色ない！
I really liked Headhunters (or Hodejegerne in Norwegian) and I'm usually not a fan of thrillers.
